Sylvia Fuoss wrote in the April 17Argus Leader that a fetus is not a baby. Perhaps Fuoss does not realize that fetus is Latin for "little one" or "offspring."
Fetus literally means "child." This child has new and unique human DNA and is by all textbook definitions living. No amount of baseless dismissal will change that.
